Our decision to revamp the design system stemmed from user feedback in previous hackathons indicating areas of inconsistency and difficulty in navigation. We aimed to refine the user experience, addressing these pain points to ensure our product exceeds expectations.

Visualized an accessible and cross-platform UI kit and a user-friendly participant portal that supports 500+ users, enabling judges and participants to efficiently upload and evaluate projects.

Establishing our identity

02 | New Hibiscus
Design SYSTEM + Mockups
We transformed our design system by updating typography, colors, and imagery. I also developed a new logo to fit our new image. Then, we created mockups to seamlessly integrate the new design into our portal.
